I am 6'3" and am very disappointed in the loss of cabin height with the sun/moonroof. I get why the mechanism causes the loss of space, but am disappointed that Toyota doesn't have a solution such as power adjustable seats. Because of this I can't get any premium features since it is all packaged together. I really hope future versions will have a height solution or at the very least break out premium features separate from the sunroof.

Good point but I should have clarified double cab is a necessity!

Fantastic example of a 1st world problem!

But at least you did a test drive/fit. Lots of folks here dont seem to bother with that effort.

Tilt your seat back a notch. I'm 6'3'' and have over an inch to the roof.

I'm only 6' and even I found the headroom to be an issue on a sunroof equipped truck that I test drove.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It really drives me crazy... Ok, lied. I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm 5'5" and have no issues. :D

I am tall. I bought one without a sun roof. Then again I test drove it for fit first.

I second this. Just tilt your seat back a tiny bit. I'm 6'2" with a moonroof and have absolutely zero headroom issues. It might seem like an inconvenience, but it's really easy to find a comfortable seating position like this without your head rubbing on the roof.

Yup, I was dead set on a moonroof. Until I sat in one with it. I'm just 6', but it wasn't going to work for me. My head was about right up on it on the left side in the seating position which was comfortable for me. Putting the seat back helped a little, but I do a lot of off roading, and knew I'd be bashing my head and getting endlessly pissed off about it. Had to pass on it, as sweet as it would have been for the on-road driving.

I didn't care about the other premium features (blindspot warning, backup sensors, etc), and didn't want the JBL package either. I wanted the room behind the rear seats more.

I'm 5'8" and it fits perfectly for me. Driving position is ideal with sunroof. But I can definately understand why it doesn't work for you. Power seats have been bashed a lot on here. Frankly, I don't care. I've set my seats once and rarely change. Every once in a while depending who's in the rear.

No, still got the TRDOR 4x4. Tow package and TRD skid only options.

I don't understand the love for power seats. More complication, motors, weight, cost and slower to adjust. I hate waiting for the seat to slowly move one way or the other. Not to mention how often I adjust them, maybe once a month to vacuum under?
