Sunroof/moonroof cover installation help

Bought a 2001 Tacoma with a factory sunroof/moonroof, flips up only. It came with the cover and now I’m trying to re-install it and for the life of me I cannot get it to work. Anyone who has one, can you help please. Thank you!

Check and see if your cover has these plastic mounts that face toward the front of the truck and that the spring inside the knob is springing back to lock it in. It turns about 1/4 turn counter clockwise to release and to reinstall first make sure the plastic mounts seat correctly then turn knob counter clockwise until it stops then push the cover up flush and release the knob and a spring loaded pin comes out and locks it in place.
