    Hey all,

went for a drive with the little one today and opened the sunroof about 3/4 of the way. When we got home though sunroof won’t close. I was able to open it the rest of the way but now it won’t close. Tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it but that didn’t work. I don’t see anything obvious on the track that would block it. Not sure what else to try.

Take off the electrical connector for the motor and apply power to the motor try to close.

Forgive my naïve question where is this electrical connector? And what is the what way to apply power to it?

I'd check fuse and if that's not bad, take it in.

You could lower the console, find the control connector to the motor and, with a wire, jump the closing switch to ground.

Jiggle the button or connector plug.
Just grab the overhead console and pull straight down. Don't yank too far down because you'll be pulling on wires within an inch or so...

Ensure there is a proper connection.
The wires there are barely long enough and they stress the connector plugs.

I've ocassionaly had a connection issue.

I would not open it until you find what's loose.
