Sunroof problems

    Just my opinion, but checking/clearing the drain tubes ought to be part of anyone's regular maintenance if they have a sunroof. Dribble a bit of water into each tube and if it doesn't flow cleanly, clear it out using some moderate thickness weed whacker nylon "wire" or similar.

    I don't know the specific vehicles you cited, so maybe they're worse setups than others, but for most vehicles the problem is solved with the above maintenance.

    Toyota's have had sunroof problems for years... I have had a few that leaked, all around the drain tube design... they clog & get kinked.
