I have a 2009 taco and want to get a super 10 muffler with a single in dual out so I could have dual exhaust type ordeal but would having the one in dual out effect sound and or performance?

Putting a flomaster or similar on a 4 or 6 cylinder doesn’t make the vehicle sound throaty, powerful or like the rumble of a V8. It makes it sound like a fart machine. But if that’s what you want then by all means go for it.

Yes, it will sound different. No, it will not improve performance.
