Super Bowl Halftime show

LMAO! I don't watch football so I'm not watching the game but my wife wanted to see the national anthem and the halftime show. I made the same comments said here.

1) It was a piss poor national anthem singing and I'm embarassed as an American. It's a shame they don't hire anyone who's actually good to sing the anthem ever, just a pop star.

2) Black Eyed Peas and Usher suck.

God I shoulda been born 30 years ago. Just can't get into that music.


PS, my wife and my mother-in-law loved both the anthem and the half-time show. But then again I've never thought they had taste in music.

 

I want to know how I get the beat from the Transformer's commercial.

Of course, it would sound awful in my stock Tacoma audio system...

It was ok at best...they need to get rock bands to do these shows...most pop stars aren't good at singing live.

It didn't help that the sound work was awful as well.

IMO the commercials are pretty underwhelming too.

I'm prepared for a but this superbowl has sucked all around. The anthem was worse than while the halftime show made me , because while the BlackEyed Peas are not my favorite, they did especially poorly this time... I think Country and/or rock are the most suitable genres for the superbowl. I think it has to do with being in Dallas where they kicked over 400 fans out over their seating screwup.
