It tooks 7 years for their 5th gen 4runner S/c kit development... they make good stuff... but i bet magnuson will be complete first, they have much greater resources.

Haha Basicly! Though i found throwing it in sport mode has greatly satisfied me. Regular driving is more of an Eco experience lol

No one? I'm quite happy with mine and I don't even use ECT.

It took them several years to get their superchargers CARB approved, then again for most of that time TRD was selling them with CARB approval (has little to do with emissions, mostly to do with how much $$$$$$$$$$$ the approval costs). TRD ponied up for it but Magnuson didn't until last year sometime, likely because TRD stopped selling their superchargers and they wanted to make sure they didn't exclude the CA market.

Whether or not they make the new 3rd gen Tacoma supercharger CARB legal or not right out of the gate has yet to be determined...since they've already got their other products approved I would think that this would be as well. I don't know exactly how it works, if it's a blanket approval across all products or if you have to submit each product for approval individually. Knowing CA, they probably want a fee for each product being offered.

Maybe maggy had a do not compete clause they signed while they were manufacturing the "trd"?
