33" AT's and yeah the no fuel mods don't help. Just wanted to clarify that in case the op thought slapping just a sc would have him racing people. It's faster but still a turd. :D

It's sitting in my office right now waiting to be put on. Debating the 2.2 at the same time as well. I can't wait to get it all running properly though.

    but a funner turd.

    Do eet!

No reason not to do the 2.2 at a later stage. Then you can see how things change. I gave up on the 2.2 for the short term. Something wasn't right between 2k and 3k RPMs and I don't have the time to sort it out atm. Also, even with babying the skinny pedal, I dropped 1mpg from the stock pulley. I did notice a drop in power going back to the stock one but decided it was worth keeping the mpg and not finding out the hard way that the weirdness between 2k and 3k was catastrophic.

One day, I may go back to the 2.2 and have it professionally tuned.

I might just go with the 7th only until I can get a wideband O2 and tune it properly.

I am running the IK22's, but haven't installed my 170 yet. That will happen with the 7th.

What exactly is ETCS? I know EGR is meant for the California standards so I won't have to worry about that.
    And what is t-stat?

ETCS = electronic throttle control system.

    t-stat = thermostat.

Man, a lot of great intel here...I know I'd dig my truck with the S/C but I commute a lot for work. I know you gotta pay to play but 40 cents per gallon more equals about $7.20 more per tank. Don't get me wrong, I ain't broke and I can afford to put an S/C on my truck but I clocked over 20,000 miles last year and at that rate it would really add up. This is the main thing that is holding me back. However, it seems that most people on here that have thrown on an S/C are extremely happy with it.

One reason I wanted more HP is because I'm considering buying a small camper trailer like an Airstream, Casita or Scamp and the extra boost would really help. Plus the S/C is just fucking awesome.

Another thing I was thinking about that may be a little more economical is the octane boost they sell at normal autoparts stores. Stop me if I'm wrong but if I filled up on regular 87 octane and put a bottle of $2-3 dollar octane boost would this be good enough?

I read more than once that the shitnin a bottle typically raises octane by something like .1%

    That's point 1

I have thought about the 2.1" pulley but need to learn how to tune it correctly before I do something really stupid. That and I need to be at a point where I don't care about gas mileage anymore.
