I have an OEM spare key, but not sure it would work on yours.

when I got my spare tire holder replaced they never put the cylinder back on with the keyed piece, and then i read it was easier to remove with a strong enough screwdriver. but for reference here ya go. There's also somewhere I saw where you can file off 80% of the key part and it becomes universal for all Toyota spare tires with the lock, apparently they follow a pattern but these two spots will always be there.

Thankfully I got it off. Filing it probably would have worked but taken forever with the tire still up. If it came down to it on the roadside, I would have cut cable.
A screwdriver into that star pattern, with a ratchet on the end is how I got it off. Then I used a screwdriver (it broke) and then the tire iron to pry the lock off. I'll never have to deal with it again.

Now that I see you pictures, I have recently seen that key and never knew what it was. I took everything out of my toolbox last night looking for it just in case I put it in there. I'm way to redneck to throw it out, so I'm sure I'll stumble across it again someday now that it's useless.

When I bought mine, the PO said "You want the tool box"? I said "No" so he kept it. No doubt the key was in it.

He was so attentive, I'm sure if it were missing he'd have bought a new one. I think if you had a A/T tire for a spare it came with the anti theft. My spare is the factory Goodyear 31x10.5, an expensive tire even back then.

Reading this thread makes me think there's 5 pages worth of members who need to get laid and are about as needy for pics of women as a 14 year old boy

Enjoying nice photos does not mean we aren't getting laid. There isn't a direct correlation.

Also, didn't you just read through all 5 pages looking for pics of the hot neighbor too?
