IIRC, all 22r/22re/22ret/3vz had replaceable clutch fluid

Toyota made it possible TBH. It’s simple and easy but I wouldn’t bother. It’s easier to change the clutch IMO. Changing the fluid is simple but require some TLC. Once the clutch is out, there’s 4 Philip screws that holds it together. The screws sandwich an oring between the two piece. Once it’s apart, you pour both bottle of fluid in and close it back up. Only issue I see is, if the oring is brittle and break, you’ll have one heck of a time trying to find the oring. Save yourself the trouble and replace the entire clutch on a 20+ y/o equipment vs adding new fluid.

Typically symptom of no fluid in the clutch is the loss of cfm during increased rpm. Easier to notice when the AC is engaged, the fan speed remains the same.
