So I got to test it out in the dark tonight. The red's are very intense. the white has good light dispersion but my spare tire blocks some of the light shining down into the bed...whatev. I want to see some LEO install this with BLUE and RED on a strobe flasher:bananadead:
do 1st gens even have a 3rd brake light? All kidding aside, sure..I would just need a light for dimensions

AMEN TO THIS. I went through the same nightmare and still have those big beautiful holes starring at me every time I open the doors to get into my truck!

send me your addy and the 2nd Gen is yours to R&D

Oh come on..It won't be new for long. Although I agree just punching holes anywhere is a bad idea, these are just ENLARGED holes of already existing ones. plus its behind the light, you'll never see it.

Being just what the doctor ordered for my Snugtop 3rd. Stock reverse lights don't point down enough and bumper mounter lights are more likely to get bumped.

serious. I'm sure the output is amazing. The work is doubly amazing. But it feels "pointy" in the photos.

I actually thought the same thing. I wanted a smooth solid beam of light. That would require a bit more work, and some type of custom diffuser lens on top to spread the light out. I was behind a raptor and saw their factory 3rd brake lights(which has 3 spread out) and it didn't look too bad...

Would a red version of your turn signal mirror LED strips put out good light?

I got mine fixed, cost me about 1700$ with some other minor scratch/chip repair. Windsheild had to be removed/replaced and nutzerts drilled out and holes welded. Headliner etc all removed to do so. Live and learn i guess. But im gonna see if my rago mounts will go on my prinsu for the lightbar now. No more holes lol.

Looks good. Too bad my RTT is on the truck all the time so this won't do me anything. Back to the ECT always on mod building now! :D
