As if you didn't have enough volunteer testers, I'd be more than happy to as well.

Any how to video on removing headliner? Searched youtube no luck ! Want to add sound proofing when its time for the brake light swap! Anyone have a leak issue with the OEM brake light? Went on a trip to Sedona and drove through 2 good down pours and when i got home i noticed the water stain on the headliner ! Was never there before the trip and i don't ever really drive when it rains in Socal the few times it does rain! Washing the truck by hand never had any wet spots on headliner. Going to the dealer with it tomorrow but i think i going to get the old run around. I have read a couple of threads on the leak so it seems it has been an issue. Anyone delt with the dealer on this problem?

Read through the whole thread so we are just waiting on testers to report back with fit and function info. If all is good how soon will they release?

If you are concerned about the leak, take your truck to the dealer. There have been several that had improper sealant/installation of the 3rd brake light. It is a warranty issue due to errors in manufacturing.

IF you really want the ultimate brake light then hold if you can, just don't let the leak get so bad you have mold. Search the forums for the 3rd brake light leak, some guys have had real problems.

As for removing headliner, search the forum for sound proofing. A few have pulled the liner to do so. You will need to remove overhead console, back handles, back hooks, Dome light and all pillar covers, I may have overlooked something, then take it out through one of the doors.

    Good luck.

Geez, that seems like a lot of work taking down the headliner. I'd probably do the other option Meso suggested and smash in my existing brake light altogether and not worry about removing the headliner.

It's not as bad as it sounds once you get at it I think. You could also do some sound proofing while it is off and who knows what else!

But if you have no interest in that, yeah smash the back light and hope you don't mess up installing the new one

should have given the testers to people that would actually test it and give feedback.... its been months now. get your shit together and give back info so he can start producing them so the people that will ACTUALLY want and use it can get theirs. it literally takes an hour to install if that

Geezez. It's not the end of the world. You don't know what the tester is going through right now. You don't know the situation. I understand you are excited to purchase this product but being ignorant isn't going to speed up the process

i guess im a little different when being given products for in return to give feedback.. to me thats a slap in the face to the manufacture. be honest i was super pumped for this but ive lost interest because we are all waiting on feedback but haven't gotten any. its not just me, he makes awesome products and would like him to be able to start producing these to further his portfolio and start making some money also. then others that have been waiting can finally get theirs like i said.
