New concept looks great! Love the downward tilt of the outer lights!

This isn't the light for me, but I kinda miss the third light in the middle. With as big as the bump is, would upright allow for 3 center? Looking at the mounting, I'd guess not. That really eats at the available space.

Maybe a 2nd Gen version with the outer lights facing rearward like the center two, for us desert guys that want dust lights too?

I agree with you. IMHO the KC Cyclone version looks a lot better. It just looks so much more complete and more aesthetically pleasing.

The new BD lights have SO much wasted space in the body (bezel, box, frame, etc) of the light.

EDIT: This not something that is or was under control of @mesojdm . As always he has done an unbelievably great job designing around the changes and improving his original design in the process.

What about a KC BD Combo
Two KCs on the end and two BDs in the middle? It may look cool

Looks killer. How did the black filler snap caps fit?
You should pop the lens off the outside bed lights and shoot the PCB board black. Don’t even mask, spray right over the LED. Follow up with some paint thinner/acetone on a rag and hit the top of each light. it would really tie into the blacked out look of the brake light.

Home run! This looks incredible. And it will match all the other Baja Designs lights going on my truck.

Very snug. Had to work to pull off/press out.
I may. I’m at the measure twice stage...
The wires fit through fine. In thinking of opening up the center holes for bolts as I mentioned previously. I need to see if I’m going to have to reinforce or not if I go that route. Also toying with a wedge tilt on the bed lights.

Thanks! I try my best to come up with designs that both look visually appealing but also enhance the functionality over stock.
With the angled bed lights and the increased output of the new BD LEDS, I think these will be plenty of light.
I am chnging the design a little to front mounted. I feel having it all 1 solid piece(instead of 2 part like my original plan) will hold up better to water intrusion, and easier access to remove or replace a light if needed

    BB7C2235-603F-48CD-AB99-7063C84B02A7.jpg
I might be able to print some cups that would mourn in between the light and housing to angle them a bit.

Looks like 4 KC’s, or 3 BD will max out the 2nd gen footprint
