I thought twin screw was better than centrifigul ? And roots dc was the most effective. I realize turbos are centrifugal but opperate at much higher rpms to compensate. I dont have a lot of boosted experience but have always been intrigued by u and what u have done

Thats what I thought, but its because this centrifugal pumps out more psi than the trd right?

Rotrex has a planetary gear design that makes it more efficient than a normal centrifugal sc. It pumps out a powerband unlike any other. Way better than a turbo. Way better than a roots or a twinscrew. Whereas the roots and twinscrew provide low end torque and the turbo at the higher rpm. The rotrex starts at low psi at low rpm and high psi at high rpm. Just don't go past the maximum impeller speed.

It's all about flow and (thermal properties)aka heat... not psi. This rotrex flows a lot more, and does so while creating almost zero heat.

Ive seen this rotrex on an S2000 making 20 psi....so there is a ton of potential in this kit with a built engine:eek:

he has a vid of him running 12.720 @ 106.20 over on xr-underground.com . and he shifts from 4wd on launch into 2wd down the track.

hopefully he can get traction with his new setup and run a lot faster
