Waxed from day one . And parked in the garage .every color has issues if u don’t take care of it . The sun is your enemy .

 

mine has cracks and chips already and i've only owned the truck for 2 months. it's shitty paint. do a ceramic coating immediately after buying if you want it to be tough.

fwiw, i also use my truck heavily for work. i do trash pickup and I'm sure many bags have hit the paint. but there are tons of scratches on the roof which I'm assuming is from tree branches falling.

my Sport is a 2010 . No issues with the paint and I live in the worst rust belt you can imagine .
Clay bar every spring , then wax , then seal , then polish .
A random orbital is a must if you plan to keep your truck .

excuse the dirt. my only available parking spot is under an oak tree

 

My truck is only a couple of months old. I keep it covered parking most of the time. I get it washed once a week and do a light wax once a month as well.

 

Same, 2020 no issues yet.

Not bad but it looks like just the start. Looks like the paint in that area just decided it was tired and now coming off in smallish sheets.

Loved my 040 for 8 years until it finally started flaking in a few different areas.
It’s single stage and cheap. I used ceramic and graphene coatings multiple times per year and always hand washed with care.

it will start flaking. The only question is when
