While washing the Taco today I noticed several, maybe half a dozen, small chips in on one door. They are about the diameter of a pencil lead. No little dings or scratches near them. You can't see them from a few feet away, so no big deal. What has me worried is I know a guy who has a white Altima that started doing this and it got progressively worse. The dealer ended up re-painting part of his car under warranty. Does anyone know of any issues with the Toyota Super White or their paint in general?

I have an 09 superwhite and it seems like the paint is ultra thin. If takes hardly anything to chip it or scratch it. I hate to see what it will look like once I dive off into the woods.

Looks like we have the same truck Gezr. The irony is I went with the white because it doesn't show abuse as bad! I got mine after hunting season, I guess it will look good at least through the summer.

I have a 2007 ultra white chipping on the front of my hood. The chips are working their way back, about 6 inches in all bothsides. My friend a bodysop gu said that most of them sart on the roof or hood. Super white paint has no clear coat and he sees it all the time. I'm pissed and was going to get the hood painted but $775 and it could happen somewhere else. Now what?
