    Hey fellas,

Stumbled across a couple threads that talked about their super white paint chipping 3-4 years of having the truck. Has anyone heard of this problem being fixed or if this is a rare problem?

Just had my truck ceramic coated (so worth it) and I take care of it like it’s my first born child hahah!

    thanks,

just came in from washing my truck. Its 2 years old now, just under 11k miles. Have a small rock chip in the front bumper skin, not a single chip anywhere else on it. Including in front of the rear tires on the bed where those protective skins are. I do have the stock limited tires and wheels on it and front and rear factory Toyota mud flaps. No paint peeling anywhere, especially on the doors near the windows. Still holding up like new...Maybe for the people who get chips, we have mild winters here, so not a lot of gravel, rocks, or sand on the roads. As for the peeling, mine is still good.

I have the same exact truck as @jimmerheck only it’s a 2018. No peeling and just a couple rock chips on both bumpers that have been touched up.

2016er here, bought used at 30K with one chip on the front bumper skin in tow. No other issues since and it's at 70k.

My 2018 has a big chip on the driver's side a pillar, I'm sure whatever hit it would have chipped any color paint. No inherent issues that I can tell.

Well, my 2017 paint is peeling (noticed today) rear drivers side next to the window. Right on the seem of the door. Been searching this forum and came across this thread. If anyone has experienced this and what the best next steps would be I would appreciate the information. I'm going to take some pictures and call Toyota. No Way should paint be peeling off the truck! WTF
