Wow man! After that nightmare you went through with ToyMoCo over the loss of your engine in the '13 and now this I would not fault you for having a bitter taste in your mouth.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Taco'09...You're not kidding, an '06 that peeled that cost me $800, a '13 with a bum engine, now a '14 that's peeling worse than the first one. That's only 3 of the 8 Toyotas that I've owned since 2006. Oh and the '07 I4 Camry that drank a quart of oil every 1200 miles that they eventually rebuilt for me.

Just had my 2016 white tacoma sr5 peeling paint on drivers door and both fender tops repaired at body shop for $3000. Body shop who does a lot of work for dealer fought really hard for several weeks to get it warrantied, but had no luck. Has Toyota fixed the problem on the 2023s? I just turned 40000 miles last week and I hate to get rid of it, but the body shop said it will peel again somewhere else.

Possible but doubt it. 3rd gen 040’s have the same issue. Ours took 7-10 years to peel, theirs are taking less than 7.

Problem is not specific to Toyota. Ford, Gm, Dodge vehicles have white paint falling off in chunks too.

Probably will go with the Tundra next. Just bought a bigger boat and would like the trailering mirrors and a little more power. The Tundras don't have the white problems as far as I can out.
