Nice picture! I've tinkered with the idea of making my own DRLs like those, but use amber LEDs. I would want to buy extra filler plates so i have piece of mind drilling into mine.

Yea, now I need to go searching and try and find the thread or at least a picture.

Those Auer lights are pricey to buy, and I think I've read they aren't the easiest to splice in.

I like the lights, but enough for there $300-400 price tag. I figured I could make my own for much cheaper and use amber instead.

I see your from Culpeper. My grandparents used to own a farm in Palmyra before my 90 year old grandfather decided raising cattle was too much for him!

Ha! Yea, we frequent the OBX to get away in the summer. It probably is closer, and you have alot more beach to explore. Assateague (where you hunt Sika) is a national refuge so they like to limit the OSV sections when certain species breed. The MD side of Assateague has more beach to drive and explore.

Getting the OSV permit is money well spent. You can rive away from the parking lots and get much more real estate to yourself.

Thanks! They are the matte gunmetal SR8s from SCS. They look black in low light, but show their true color in the sun. The black lip ties it all together.

I've thought about getting either black bolts for the faux bead lock, or possibly getting color matched ones. I'll need to email Vin.
