Probably not. That’s a dedicated system designed to be used on quarter mile tracks, not daily driven trucks.

Lol would require a few more components to work on a 3rd gen Tacoma, like a new engine, different intake, transmission, driveshaft, rear diff and axles...
    That's just to start.

Interesting, but it would really only be good for drag racing 1/4 mile application when runtime is measured in seconds, not hours. The compressed air tanks will deplete extremely rapidly and you must then refill them outside of the vehicle.

It would work with all the stock mechanical parts on the truck, just needs an engine management system to account for the added airflow and fuel requirements.

It wont work for regular driving, just for a single short shot unless you have a huge tank trailer behind you.

A 214 cubic inch engine (3.5L) running at 3000 RPM consumes almost 100 cubic feet of air per minute just on the air/fuel stroke! For size comparison, a standard SCUBA cylinder only holds 80 cubic feet of air at 3000psi. If you add in what all 4 strokes consume, and what pressure amount you need above atmospheric pressure, you will need a ridiculous amount of compressed air to make it work for very long.

Thinking about passing on highway, faster acceleration on the on ramp, etc.
Momentary power increase, ...tank, onboard compressor, tubing, flow regulator, switch based on throttle position or manual on/off.

You would need a way to immediately switch the ECU tune to compensate for a massive inscrease of air, if you don’t then you will force too much air into the engine which could make the engine run extremely lean from not enough fuel and melt pistons and valves and it’s not a good thing. It’s not worth the headache

I suppose if you live your life 1/4 mile at a time... once a day...

Should’ve bought an old X-runner or gen2 and added a super charger if this is the kind of power you are looking for. You won’t get consistent power from this setup.

I think you should run this set-up and post build and progress reports.
Set up a Go Fund Me page and I will donate a couple bucks.

Get yourself a nitrous kit and save up for a new transmission. Or downshift.

What would be the result if you injected before or after the MAF? No haters please, just asking questions.

I'd guess it depends on the amount injected. Might be seriously helpful at altitude though.

After the MAF would result in an extremely lean fuel air mixture and probable engine damage. Before the MAF would allow the engine ECU to attempt to adjust fuel flow to match the increased airflow but I doubt it is able to do it on the stock tune.
