These questions are for the forced induction guys. I've got a 01 ext cab 4wd with the trd blower, 2.2 URD pulley and 7th injector. It also has 4.88's and 33's(MTR's for the hwy and heavy ass boggers for the trail). I currently have the stage 3 Competition clutch installed that I bought from URD a little over a year and a half ago. The clutch has roughly 30k miles on it and is shot. I daily drive it and am also no where near easy on it when on the trail. I'm wondering if 30k is a decent mileage for the stage 3, considering my usage. Would I be better off upgrading to the stage 3+? Or should I change to a SPEC clutch? What clutch are yall running and why? I really need to order something this week. I emailed Gadget with the same questions but he hasn't got back to me yet. I just want some opinions before I go and drop the cash.

sounds like the increased grip comes from the dual friction materials, it makes no mention of it using a stronger pressure plate which is weird.. the low lifespan on your current clutch might be normal for duel friction designs intended to give a nice stock like engagement.. I would go with something else, hell at 30k just buy a new non duel friction disk and throw it in there..
