    Hey Everyone,
I recently picked up a 2nd gen with a URD supercharger on it (stage 2), and I was curious as to how well these engines will hold up under boost. I understand it is going to depend on how hard you are on the truck, but I was just curious if anyone really knows how much the life of the truck is shortened.

My main concern is, "did I just buy a ticking time bomb?"

As an FYI, the truck has about 150k miles on it, and the supercharger has been on it for about 25k miles.

    Thanks

I got my TRD SC installed at 150K miles. The truck now has 211K miles, and is still going on strong.

i personally wouldn't be concerned about it, i'd be pretty happy if my truck had a supercharger

If you take care of the engine then it's no problem. My supercharger makes 15psi boost. Has been for a full year now. No issues to speak of.
