Hard to tell in the vid. Does it turn smooth?

Ya it feels like it turns fine. It doesnt bind anywhere at all and it sounds smooth. I still want to replace the bearings. I also found out that the blueness I talked about earlier is just blue grease because that is what is used in the rear bearings. Here is also a link of what to look for while taking apart the Eaton M62 Supercharger. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=796041

From what I also read the coating does come off and it isnt a problem. In that link I provided it talks about signs and symptoms and from what I read my rotor assembly and rotor bearings are just fine. I dont have any scarring on the rotor plate and there isnt much play at all.

I also found this link. http://www.thehighspeedlab.com/Eaton_Price_List.html
They do rebuilds and I dont think they are too expensive at all. For about $500 you can have essentially a brand new supercharger. Something I'm thinking of doing. I still have a few more people I need to contact but it seems like my charger may be fine.

Gotta wait til I get my bearings and seals then I'm going to take it to a performance shop in town because I dont have the correct tools or a press so they are goingto do it for me. I am going to figure out how to mount my new gauges here pretty soon. I have a boost gauge and the XD-16. I dont know where tho...

    UPDATE:

So I sent my supercharger off to The High Speed Lab in Missouri. Theyre rebuilding it and it will be flawless and he said it wont need any maintenance for 80-100k mi. I'm pretty excited about that. Also I got my 7th Injector and fuel upgrades. My AFR should be here soon also! WOOT. Everything is coming together besides ECM compatability. I'm still trying to get it sorted out. Some guys on TTORA have a supercharged 95.5-96 Tacoma on the stock ECM and other sources are saying that I need to swap in a newer ECM... I'm so confused :(

Hi everyone. I thought I would give this thread an update. I got it back from the highspeedlab all rebuild and ready to rock and roll. It turns so much smoother. I got the impellers recoated also so that way it will last 80-100k mi from what the owner said. They are a great company to work with and give updates frequently. Always called to make sure everything was to my liking. If anyone is in need of a supercharger rebuild it go to thehighspeedlab.com. He knows the M-62 in and out and will get it turned around in as little as 2-3 days. All depending on what you want to do. Since I got my rotors recoated it took an extra day. Nonetheless, excellent customer service! I cannot wait to get this badboy installed. I have All the gauges and everything I need to install less a boost gauge. A few more things I need to research and in it goes! YAY!!!!
