So, I've done some searching at can't really find the answer I'm looking for.

I recently picked up a supercharger in need of repair. The problem I'm having is what repair does it need? A rebuild? Or is it a bigger problem and I'm wasting my time/money.

I don't have an actual running condition diagnosis of it. What should I look for? There is a knock when you first turn the pulley but other than that I'm at a loss. 4.0L TRD Supercharger.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

    no mileage at all?

There is snout oil to keep track of, theres rotor wear that happens.

Id be tempted to call Eaton if it was me

What you have is an Eaton MP90 blower...... Made by Eaton, but IIRC Magnuson does the deed of making it fit our vehicles and other aftermarket vehicles.

Yes, No mileage info at all. Everything sounds smooth other than the knock at first rotation.
So would you recommend a full rebuild? I've found the JonBond rebuild kit, but not sure if that would be worth it for me to do, or if I should ship it off and have it done professionally just for safeties sake.

I have a 2001 supercharged tacoma, the supercharger on my truck was factory installed and has never been rebuilt yet and I have over 120,000 miles on it
