Supercharger HP increase while improving MPG?

    I actually have the S/C for my 4.0 and see a 2mpg increase in mileage, 22mpg unloaded and with moderate throttle inputs which are all it really needs to be driven well.

    I have also added a lot of other things to make it run well above the stock TRD rating at 407hp/420tq and the bottom end compared to the stock 3.5L is just ridiculous. A friend who has a 2016 and I did a pull from 6th at 65mph. He had to drop it down to 4th to even keep up with me in 6th and I was no where near wide open throttle, he had it mashed.

    Really? Now I wish I had got it. I was informed, at the time, by Toyota that it was 2 mpg less. Oh well.

    Driving style for sure. If I mash it like a criminal all day on the interstate I will easily knock it down to around 14 highway. Since I have another toy for that hooliganism I use it merely as a tool on the truck.
