Will be doing URD 7th injector kit as well as Wideband and Boost gauges next week. i will try to provide pictures regarding installation

Meth/Water injection will be achieved in the future.

Install was fairly easy as the instructions provided by URD was very detailed and lots of pictures.

Been there, done that…Learn from the others here and get the Haltech instead of the URD 7th injector.

So as someone who has never driven a supercharged 3.4L before, how does it feel to you? Much faster, more powerful?

Getting power out of the 3.4 is expensive and the basic supercharger is just the beginning adding 40-60 hp depending on your elevation and pulley.

Stock rear wheel is probably 150-160,

depending on pulley size and elevation and mods you can max that number
to 300 rear wheel and the transmission, clutch and other parts are still happy.

With a turbo you can go further 350hp but the clutch with be the 1st part that will not be happy and your limited to boost because the crankshaft is not forged

So there is a huge difference or a nice difference in power depending how far down the rabbit hole you go.
The haltech will start your power off at 2000rpms while the stock ECU your power comes on at 3500rpms. For me the haltech alone gave me an additional 62lbs of torque and 35hp more in the midrange over stock ECU.
Every setup will be different depending on what your mods are and elevation which effects your boost number

Funny but that's my other car. It's a great pavement ride, super comfortable and reliable. I've been a Toyota guy for many decades.

I would listen to @1997tacomav6 hes probably one of the most knowledgeable posters regarding SC and 5VZFE… I was seriously considering an SC but after go back and reading 1997 posts regarding SC, I decided against it because there just isn’t a pug and play solution that gives you the 30+ HP without the Haltech.. spending 7+K for 30HP at lower than 3500 RPM just seemed crazy.

I know this is off topic but anyway you could share how you were able to make the hood scoop work on your truck. I've got a 99 and I'm wanting to get a hood scoop
