That would be your engine oil. Do not put coolant in that lol. Its the can sized cannister in the back corner of your engine bay, attached to the fender wall

Read it was every 75,000 mile we have to rebuild them and it cost around $750 for the rebuild kit.

I'm 25K on my SC with the original belt, minor cracks.

On a differient note for those that are boosted:
The Oil Catch can and external filter really keep a lot of oil / vapors from going back into the intake.

still need to do this mod, but I cant find and good can. I like the ADD baffled catch can but can find them anymore.

And a 3/8" fuel filter that I change ever oil change.

I also added a needle valve and tube to the bottom of the truck for easy draining of the oil catch can

 

I really need to install mine as well! I need to figure out where to mount it with the reservoir right there

 

Great idea! I will say though I'm not a big fan of needle valves; I used SS quarter-turn ball valve.

The needle valve has function correctly for the last 20k miles, if it fails all upgraded to SS.

 

just read some of the catch can threads. im now going to install one.
wonder if the dealer will hem and haw about modifying the pcv system should a warranty issue come up.
