    I hear ya bro. Definitely something that is a "Do at your own risk." Or educated risk. Lol. Then again, the truck in reference is used by a man who tests the very limits of his truck regularly.

    Yeah, I would say that is quicker than stock! Lol. Also, I did a burnout for five seconds and had to stop because I started drifting a bit. I couldn't do a burnout for more than a half second stock!!

    quick question for you s/c'd Tacos about the whine. Do you hear it all the time or just when you stomp on it? I assume anytime you are above 2000rpms? Is it faint during daily and progressively louder in higher rpms?

    also...OP, are you noticing the s/c getting stronger as you are breaking it in? Feeling better about the added power?

    I only hear the whine at WOT....when I stomp on it. This blower doesn't have the best performance, as it is not supposed to, so it isn't like a Maggie, Whipple, or Kenne Bell. I can hear a slight whine with my KB Jeep at idle. Not with the Tacoma. If Toyota warrantied a KB producing an extra 140 whp and offered it, OMG!! I would have one as well....lol. I cannot speak for the Op, but I am sure happy with my TRD (Eaton??) Supercharger.

    I was at Toyota today in Portland and they were installing a SC on a heavily armored FJ. They let me go back and watch for a few minutes. First time I've seen one in person and made me want one that much more.

    Mine whines above 1900 rpm unless at cruise speed. If you give it gas, enough to gear down it will whine.
