i want to increase the power of my 2009 toyota tacoma. Ive always wanted a TRD supercharger. But now ive been looking in to turbos like STS.
what are the pros and cons of supercharger and tubos and the price diffrence?

    I like turbos. ;)

It is late for me right now, so I will explain some points in more depth tomorrow. For the record, stay away from STS. Been there...

Go TRD. The STS kit is more expensive in the end.

They make superchargers not turbos. It is a great kit. Power gains are mostly top end with some mid range gains.

Well if I had the money I would go with the URD kit but only after putting money into something that would actually be fast.:D

I am only aware of one person running an F/I setup, which isn't TRD, on an '09 + Tacoma. Toon is that person.

................it comes down to one current reason......

    *turbos.

And how much is URD? Cause I know TRD is like $4500 that's just for the supercharger and the fit kit

Cost is relative to how "complete" the two kits are. Do a little more investigating, and you will find that it really isn't that much more "expensive."

    .
When you are spending that much coin ... what's a few extra bucks ... go with a belt driven compressor = TRD Supercharger ... :burnrubber:
