Out of the box, it is suppose to bump the hp to just a hair over 300hp at the crank.

If you can stay out of boost, then you will get better mileage. This unit has a bypass valve that will prevent creating boost when its not need to help fuel mileage.

    It weighs between 30-45lbs.

Yep, the unit replaces the stock surge tank.

    I'm curious too.
I still have 4.75 years and 58K miles left on the SC warranty so I'm not worried, just curious..
According to TRD there's no maintenance till 100K miles.
    SC oil change.
Although,I've read that the SC oil should be changed at 30K and the nosedrive(about $275) at 60K is good maintenance.
They say that as the supercharger exceeds 60,000 miles, the bearings in the nose drive start to wear and shed metal. This metal floats around it the supercharger oil and can cause damage to the main bearings that support the supercharger impellers. When these bearings fail the whole supercharger will then require overhauling.

Wicked nice dude, I want one yesterday!! Just a quick question for anyone that knows, is this thing legal in California? I mean, will it pass smog and meet CARB restrictions? Oh yeah, once again, nice dude, real nice!!

Edit: NM, I found out it is all good in Cali, so its now on the wish list. I figure i owe the old lady a new washer and dryer, so if i get her the nice ones, i can get myself an SC, LOL.

If you're out of work we're in a depression. If your neighbor is out of work we're in a recession. If you're one of the rare individuals (like Joe B) who don't buy on credit we're just in a period with better prices.
