I've had supercharger for my 2013 4.0L Tacoma for 6+months now and it sounds as though it has started to rattle for the first 5-10 minutes of driving and then the noise disappears as the engine warms up.

It is evident as I press the clutch and release my foot from the accelerator and shift from 1st to 2nd gears or 2nd to 3rd gears.

Anyone with have a similar noise?

    Thanks.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I wonder if a belt idler pulley isn't going out.

First I need to get a supercharger, then I'll let you know if it rattles.

Octane! The vehicle gets added fuel at start-up and if the Octane is not high enough it will rattle. Try some octane booster and see if that fixes it. Also it may need to be re-tuned with the colder temps.

Buddy of mine had the same problem when he was towing a trailer using a lower-octane fuel. As the good sir above me stated...Octane!

I'd make an appt. w/ Toyota to check it out. Mine hasn't made any extra noise, especially a rattle sound, even when it's been at or below 0*F.
