    I want to revisit the CAI on the 2013+ engines. Why does Toyota think I'll lean out? Is this a real concern?

    The supercharger has a very fat open loop mixture programmed in so that Toyota doesn't have to worry about anyone blowing their engines with it on in stock form. Anything that could lean out that mixture is a good thing but bad by Toyota's book.

    Let's assume I finally get the AFR installed (I do have an Ultragauge and I'm always watching the lambda and it seems close to 1 most of the time except on deceleration), what reading is too lean? I don't know that I've ever seen anything greater than 1.2 or less than 0.85. So, 0.85*14.7 = 12.4. On decel it might say 1.2 for an instant which would be 17.64, but that's under zero load. Under load it's never over 1. I made a long pull on a grade the other day in OK running 85-90 and it just hung out at 0.85. Gas gauge was probably moving the entire time.

    Edit: I fixed my Ultragauge on lambda all the way home from work. OMG! I never appreciated how rich the mix is. I see an AFE intake in my future.

    Dude, it's rich all the time! You kept saying that but I was letting the pages scroll and only saw lambda part of the time. I froze the page and it's always rich under acceleration. Time for an AFE CAI.

    So if i were to buy a fit kit from the dealer before their gone and buy a supercharger used would I have all the parts I need? Or are there parts that come with the supercharger that are hard to find too?

Front and rear diffs re-geared to 4.88 dirty 30 drive axles. and a rhino pack clutch. Custom exhaust and huge mudflaps!
    No toyota announced on June 26th that all superchargers will cease as of this date. There words: The supercharger program for toyota has ended and will no longer be available on vehicles after 2015..............I dont know if im down with a non supercharged modified "OTTO" engine Thats going to be expensive if it breaks direct port dual fuel injection and VVT yeah ill be watching from far away!

    So I ended up getting a SC installed last week:woot:
    So after a trip up to mammoth and about 700 miles of driving I believe my idle is acting weird. I my truck is a manual btw. So what happens is after accelerating in any gear up to about 2.5k or higher and put in the clutch, the RPMs go down to idle, as they should, and then go back up to almost 2k and then back down to idle. It goes up and down several times, depending on how high the RPMs were when I let it go. It's almost like it's slowly bouncing back down to idle. Sorry for the bad description but it's kind of hard to describe. Anyone else experience anything like this? I'm almost certain it did not do this before. Any help would be great!
