I want to throw the urd supercharger kit on with the 7th injector kit and 2.2 pulley Can i install it all and just take it to a dyno shop to make sure a/f ratios are good. I dont know how to tune myself nor do i have the time to learn. Does urd email you a base tune to load if you tell them your exact mods such as pulley size stock intake stock exhaust. Thanks

URD does include tunes on the 7th. But expect to have to modify them.

I was reading a bit more is the ecu even tunable or do you have to buy a piggyback system. Also can you just get a bigger fuel pump and 6 bigger injectors instead of the 7th injector kit

7th injector is a piggyback. It has timing and closed loop enrichment.

Unfortunately these ECUs are not tunable so if you have a Auto trans you’re stuck with the absolutely shit transmission shift points. Thanks Toyota.

Auto trans also means you need to do a valve body mod if you don’t want to ruin your trans.

Thanks man. The more i think about it the less i think im going to pull the trigger. Seems everytime i ask i need to add another mod lol. Just did the timing belt and the truck runs flawlessly but it almost seems like ill have over 4k into a still slow truck but it would be fun

My plan is to go LS swap. Makes more sense to go with a platform that has support.

The Supercharger seems to only work on light weight manual trucks with stock size tires.

For sure. I used to have an 04 cobra. a thousand bucks on smaller pulley cold air intake and catback exhaust with tune could net you 100hp

For a dependable daily driver the 3.4 is pretty impressive though

Off the line my truck is fairly quick. But when you mix overdrive and the torque converter lockup it can become a slug. I can’t stomp it on the highway, it’s pretty pathetic.

If you did have the 5 speed and stock tire size NO big tires, smaller pulley for the supercharger you will
make a WRX huff and puff and sweat to try and keep up with you and wouldn’t be able too.
But these trucks are NOT race cars. :)

We’ll see. I’m going to just a hair bigger than stock soon. And if my trans ever goes out a manual will be going in it’s place.
