    I am just gonna throw this out there that i think people are getting mixed signals. The sc we are talking about here is not a supercharger but a chip that altes signals and such. Only reason i say this is because someone mentioned that they do not compare because the sc forces more air..superchips dont force more air and neither do the apr tuner alone

    I had asked the question about the differences between a supercharger and this URD kit. There's also another discussion about the superchip vs the full kit from URD. The problem is people using SC for supercharger and superchip... damn acronyms... but there are 3 products being discussed here so far.

    I can't see why not take the offer from super chips, they pay for everything and you get a free sample that if you don't like it later you can sell it and get some money out of it.

    If I was in Florida, I would volunteer for sure, I would make sure my ride is safe and any possible damage would be covered, other than that it's a good deal.

    there are a few members here like XRunniT, Coupe, Super_Werty who have all combined the TRD S/C w/APR X-1, 7th injectors, smaller pulleys...those guys would be able to post dyno charts...

    I am still n/a but plan on getting the trd s/c, running a 2.7" pulley, along with APR's 7th injector and walbro 255 fuel pump...when I do that I will make sure to do a before and after on the dyno to post my results...

    yeah its more geared for racing applications...but for those that are lifted w/larger tires and rims; this will help take the strain off the engine and transmission during acceleration...

    wasn't trying to knock you or talk down to you bro...just trying to explain to those out there that ask for dyno #'s its just a baseline to look at and nothing more...

    trust me you can take any dynojet, mustang dyno for that matter input the #'s you want to see and that's exactly what the print out will tell you...

    that's why I have always said dyno #'s are just a baseline and should be compared between people since there are way to many variables to take into account...

    SC = SuperChip
    S/C = Super Charger....

    yes neither the APR X-1 and the S/C doesn't force more air into the engine...they are both piggy back tuner units...its just that the APR X-1 is especially made for the 1GR-FE where as the SC are geared for a wider range of vehicles...

    I didn't see anywhere were someone mentioned that the SC and the X-1 force more air into the engine...maybe it was the way I worded it if so I apologize to those that I may have misled...

    I don't like knocking products...but I am a firm believe you going to do it once you do it right...and might as well save the extra $$$ for a product that has been proven time and time again for the 1GR-FE....:D
