Yes I learned the hard way after installing a cb in my first tacoma that public airwaves are indeed public. Called a state trooper a cocksucker to whom I was talking to as he was sitting in a parking lot and he then pulled me over. Dude wasn't happy

Ah yes, the old trucker legend, where they call for a beartrap report, and the trooper responds "nope, haven't seen a single one."

Unless…. Your keypad is going out and the ‘0’ stops working. When the ‘9’ gave out I broke down and fixed it.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
Back in 1987 I wrecked my car while Duran Duran's "Arena" was playing in the tape deck.

I haven't listened to that tape/CD (or on Spotify) in my car since then.

Put my Cutlass up on a lawn spinning around a corner in the rain listening to Cypress Hill. Never again

Out in AZ we have the Superstition Mountains / Wilderness. They definitely earned their name. Kinda the Bermuda Triangle of Arizona.
Got excited when I saw this thread because I thought it was about them.

Anyway... Not sure if it's a superstition or a 'tism, but I have to arrange my unused ammo in a certain way if I don't shoot a whole box. Either Geometrically or in the shape of a cross.

That’s probably just normal behavior for shooters. :). I’m terrible too. Have to make symmetric designs and frustrated otherwise when bullet count doesn’t work with me.

Ain't that the truth! Sitting on about 9K rounds of 5.56, 12K rounds of 9mm, and 25K rounds of .22lr. I'm good... Until I get to the shop and think "A few more boxes couldn't hurt!" :D

I gave up on psychics after several attempts to see one.
    - None could see me and they all requested that I make an appointment...

If they were actually any good; should they not be expecting me?

(Not really. Iv'e never been, nor have any desire to see a psychic.... but they do require appointments! A dead giveaway in my book!)

Ain't that a beeyoch? I've considered doing a Garage Pop just to get rid of the offending round that didn't fit in the pattern.
But the whole point is to not anger Jobu or bring good luck and somehow getting the 5.0 summoned to your abode doesn't fit with in that framework either. BAHHHHHH!

Now I look at my rounds before I leave the range and blow off that one round there.
