Bringing the driveshaft in tomorrow to get it balanced. Hopefully they can balance it and don't have to retube it. I'm pretty darn excited to be rid of this vibration I have.

Well I got the drive shaft repaired. They ended up having to retube the rear section of the shaft. $375 later I'm vibration free. Sucks to pay so much, but I'm glad it's fixed.

What's the point? The driveshaft isn't meant to hold the weight of the truck. Neither is the pinion bearing, or center support bearing. So why transfer the weight to either of those things by making the shaft stronger. Maybe if I was planning on keeping this truck. I suppose resisting the dents would be good. But it also is more expensive.

I agree if you're talking about tubing that is considerably thicker, but I got like .83 instead of .6 or whatever I'm sure the numbers are wrong. But a little more resistance to dents is good but not so strong that it breaks other stuff.

For that price it should have come with a blow-job.

I retube mine from the stock .065 to .083 for some additional dent resistance as well. Retube and balance only runs $140 here

Thanks man, haven't had a decent snow day for a while. It's all about the correct wheel speed and airing down. My truck will bounce too if my wheels are going the right speed.
