I'm losing money by selling that thang. Just figured having that truck is pointless now since I'm not going to wheel it.

Better off getting as much as you can for it now and put that money into a solid axle swap you can dd. Thats what im doing. Selling my project car to fund a sas.

I'll probably sell it for a vehicle I can tow with. There's no way I'm driving my truck with 40" tires on a 5000k road trip haha

Why not? Its instant status. Once you get a trailer your vehicle reliability will go to shit because it can. Corners get cut then on projects because, if it breaks I can still get it home...

Don't do it. Get 40's with a good treadlife and you will be fine.

I'm with mark on this one, because you still plan to keep it street legal, why trailer it?

If I break or roll in the hammers(or anywhere else), I don't want to pay $5000 to get it home. Id rather own the tow truck. Cutting corners is a choice. Just because it's being towed, doesn't mean corners are cut.

Who the fuck has a street legal sas? Very few. Full width axles, on a truck like this, to keep it street legal means to make it pretty gay ass. Low bumpers, low lights, mud flaps, somehow make fenders that completely
    Cover the tires.

If were talking street legal, my truck isn't street legal now. Tires stick out, no flaps, rear bumper non compliant, etc.

Who said im planning on building a street legal sas truck?

After you sell the 14 what do you plan on getting for a tow rig. But damn Canada must be pretty strict with trucks, TEXAS they could care less slap a plate on grave digger and no one cares

Might just be Alberta. In BC they dont care either. As long as the truck is well kept and clean its fine.

They can do the same to me right now but they dont have a reason to. Its safe, always cleanish, and I dont drive like an ass on the street. Plus there are domestics galore that are a couple feet higher with 37's and 40's with stock bumpers and they drive around without getting hassled to.

I haz steet legal SAS :D

And I agree that the corner cutting is a choice..one that becomes easier to make when you have a trailer. I have seen it happen too many times, hopefully not to you.

I'll try not to. I won't be doing the fab work so. It's up to my fabricator

I'm not just talking fabwork. The bigger picture, anything in general. That wheel bearing making noise...no need to replace it until it fails...you can get home anyway. That sort of thing. Priorities are no longer priorities. You would never leave for a trip on anything questionable before. You will leave with questionable "items" if you have a trailer.

    Ifs SUCKS

My lower uniball bolt came loose AGAIN. Fawk

And my upper control arm bolts have a problem. Either the bushings and sleeves or bolt has worn part way through. And there's a bunch of play there.

Aaaand just bought a streamlight weaponlight TLR1 HL.
