Awesome dude. Can't wait to see where you take it.

Since may. So about 8 months? It's actually not that bad. Highway tpms are at about 1550 at 60ish mph. No balls though.

I have another quick question, and my truck is taller than RJ's so answer accordingly :p

With the snorkel....is there anything that would hinder you from running it WITH a cold air intake? Other than having to do some custom plumbing that is?

    Lots.
Well, you're kind of completely ruining the point of running a snorkel of you run it with an intake.

As long as the cold air intake is watertight, I don't see a problem. You shouldn't have an issue.

depending on the CAI system you're talking about....if it's like the volant system where the filter is in a box that pulls in from the factory intake hole, you will have some work to do to make the connections water tight, but with some creativity you can probably plumb the snorkel tubing into the CAI box which would then run though the CAI filter to the engine...

i thought about that with my volant, but sold my CAI and got a used factory setup and plumbed my snorkel the normal way....better seals, less chances to have a leak...and much easier of an install

i don't think the benefits would really be there for the amount of effort that will be required to make it work..

check out volant's website, they have snorkel systems for other trucks and you can get an idea about what i'm talking about.

It's more of a just to see if I can type of thing. I do have the volant system and it can easily be made watertight, it's very close as it is.

I've also got the stock intake still, like I said just want to see if it can be done and put up the results. Checked out expeditioneers and found that snorkel. I like the look of it far better.

I've been in contact with volant to see if they'll make a snorkel for the taco as the make it for the fj and tundra. It might be a little ways out but it seems like there's interest for it.

Hope this only gets posted once, how many miles are you on with those tires? I wasnt a huge fan of them but after seeing them on your truck I really want them in the 35's once i put on the all pro coils on but not sure how well thats gonna go because im not getting the long travel just the UCA'S. The more I see your truck more money gets set aside for parts. funny how that works out, stop adding parts! Man I love your truck
