Hey everyone! I posted another video about the truck and my most recent job. I decided to try out this new vinyl spray called SuperWrap as an alternative to plastidipping my wheels. They marketed it as the best spray vinyl, best finish, etc etc. So I thought sure I'll give this a shot. Well it turned out (in my opinion) really well. I honestly am blown away by the finish, and I am pretty much completely converted from Plastidip with this stuff. It just doesn't compare. I am curious how its going to hold up over time, with car washes, driving etc. But first impressions are incredible.

UPDATE from a response I made in the thread:

I honestly would love to say that it's holding up great and there are no problems, however, that is not the case at all. While it does warn against doing it on the cans(which I missed) you absolutely cannot bring your car through an automatic carwash after applying this spray. It will flake off and be ruined. If you can commit to never washing your car in an auto wash I can still safely recommend this product but if not, it's probably not for you. Ultimately I had to spend a couple of hours flaking and removing the remaining finish and moving forward I would either powder coat the wheels or pickup wheels already finished in the color I wanted.

Oh really? I wonder if this can, it did require applying a top coat which needs about 6-12 hours to cure completely. Maybe with that it can be buffed?

looks great, and super easy. For $70 I think I'll give the Frozen Matte Top Coat kit a go this summer on my extra set of OR wheels so I can keep the Pro look

Damn, definitely sucks that it will flake off through a car wash. Plastidip is nowhere near as glossy of a finish so I'm torn here. :/

Even with the glossifier, unfortunately, it just doesn't compare to the finish on this superwrap. Plastidip is stornger but the SuperWrap looks so much better.
