Sweet setup. I am also looking at doing the skinny kendas with a shock relocation. I assume your not rubbing your rear shocks at full stuff right? Any idea how much room is in there?

I haven't measured but it's really close. It doesn't rub though, never a clean spot on the shock after wheeling. When I welded the lower shock mount on I kept it more inboard, close to the U-bolt which helps. I don't have any good pics of it, this was during mock up.

Yeah buddy! Took advantage of sales and 10% off with HF CC to get a long needed tool box upgrade. US General series 3 72" roll cab and hutch. My wife thinks it still won't be big enough....

Great choice, I love mine so far. If it’s not enough room they have the bigger side lockers now too but they aren’t cheap.

So far I'm impressed. It's the first step to getting the small garage organized.

I have my eye on the side locker. If it ever goes on sale I may get one.

How have you liked your SSO bumper? Has it seen a Wisconsin winter? I’m wondering how it will hold up to road salt.

I've been real happy with the bumper. Unfortunately I can't give you too much info with holding up to winters. I installed it mid February of '22. So it didn't see much WI salt and then I ended up moving to AZ late this year.

Awesome build Jason! Super clean & functional. I can't wait to get my hands on a set of the Klevers in that 35x10.5R17 size as well. It's so epic that they're making skinny 35s and I've heard amazing things about the tire, especially for the price. Definitely following along!

Little change today. As the truck continues to get heavier from armor and camping loadout my Dobinsons 110's leafs were starting to complain. They have been an excellent spring but it was time to step up to something with a little more Capacity. Enter the Archive Garage MD leaf springs.

Archive spring compared to the Dobinsons 110's (which are muddy not rusted)

Rear is sitting at about 26" hub to fender with an empty bed. Hopefully it settles some. Will probably adjust the front up a little also.

Looking forward to getting some miles on them.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Truck looks good. What made you decide on the Archive Garage leafs vs add an additional Dobinsons leaf and making them into 111's?

I talked to CrikeyMike about that and I have an older set of 110's that won't accept the leaf upgrade to make it a 111 pack. So with that the Archive pack checked all the boxes for load capacity to lift height, general build features, will pull 14" of travel, and made in the USA.

Actually had mud on every trail I did so far. This mud seems to come off eiser then WI mud though.

Damm, if they had adjusters I'd drive down and get them today.

The new leaf pack looks good! I'm sure it'll look even better when you get the front adjusted a bit higher too.

Quick question - it looks like you're running a full size 35x10.5 spare in the factory spare location. Did you have to modify anything for it to fit? My 33s are already taking up what seems like all of the available space. If you modified it, what all did you do?

The pics where the spare is under the bed was from when I was on 33's. The 35" spare wasn't even close to fitting in the stock location unfortunately.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
Taco power dist.jpg I'm really liking your build, I found a pic in the LambTek innovations winch switch thread that shows a very clean power distribution panel that incorporates the clutch reservoir. Is this a home brew panel or did you find a supplier?

That is a panel that I made out of 5052 0.100" thick Aluminum sheet for my Switchpro wiring and a small Aux 4 position fuse block. The Switchpro (circled in red) is kind of hidden and is mounted on a SDHQ bracket.

There really isn't a good solution for us that drive real trucks with 3 pedals :boink:

Little change to the front of the truck. Changed out the Southern Style Offroad full plate bumper for the DRT Hybrid front bumper. The SSO was a great bumper and looked good but needed something with higher clearance. Also the DRT bumper has the winch fairlead and hook inset. I was always scraping my flatlink when climbing an obstacle with the SSO bumper.

Looks awesome, I prefer the look without the bull bar. Good choice. You selling that SSO bumper? :D
