How is the 37/4:88/Magnuson combo treating you? Do you think you'll need a re-gear?

Everything is working well together and I personally don't feel like I need to go to 5.29 just for drivability sake. Now, If I were going from stock then yes I'd probably skip the 4.88 go 5.29.

I am thinking about doing the RC60F transmission swap to get a lower crawl ratio though.

I'm not familiar with that swap. But, I'm surprised you feel like you need a lower crawl gear with the NW Fab installed. Low/low should still be pretty low.

There is one guy so far that swapped in a RF60F. It's whats in the 4th gen Tacos. It has has in my opinion better gear ratios specially reverse lol.

Here's the thread for the swap https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/swapping-the-rc62f-manual-transmission-for-the-rc60f.849671/

As for lower crawl ratio I've been seeing a need since installing the RCLT Kit and larger tires. Truck is more capable and now finding myself on more technical obstacles. Even with 128:1 crawl ratio I've still been stalling it out. Of course could be a driver issue......:anonymous:

Dude the truck looks incredible! Great work on the Marlin RCLT install. Can't wait to see some trip reports of you wheeling it!

I've had the truck out a bunch since the install. Usually I don't take alot of pictures or video because I'm lame.... It's been performing above my expatations though. Pretty much point and shoot.

Today added a front Differential reinforcement plate. IG user Welds_Taco makes these an I thought it would be a good idea to shore up the rear mount of the front diff. The frame is thin and I have seen some instances of the nut getting pulled through. Specially with larger tires, lockers, and gearing. I'd rather that not happen so here we are.....

Here is what you get in the kit
    20250202_112747.jpg

First thing is to weld the washer onto the tube.
    20250202_115054.jpg

Then you have to clearence the hole in the frame for the tube to fit. I used a burr bit in a die grinder.
    20250202_120417.jpg

Then clean the weld area and mount the tube with the diff nut
    20250202_121430.jpg

Weld the plate to the frame. Then the tube to the plate
    20250202_130514.jpg

Paint and torque the diff nut to factory specs.

    Is that even possible?

Just the rear. After being out on trails with the RCLT kit I don't think I want to go with a solid front axle. It's all been working so good.
