ya, not in the near future though lol. Once you get your bumper Id like to definitely take a look at your setup. Not good with wiring and all that stuff. lol.

No Prob. I'm not good with it either but I have a friend who's done it before.

Here is what I know, only winches that have a detachable solenoid on them will fit in these and its only when the solenoid is detached. Then the problem is where to mount the solenoid. We'll figure it out.

 

That looks really good! waaay better then the ARB IMO.

man i cant believe it. I was heading west to school this morning in the far right lane. There are 3 lanes going westbound. I was going the speed limit as posted (25). Traffic in the 2 lanes on the left of me were stopped at the intersection (they were stopped cuz they if they went they would block the intersection) I had no traffic in front of me in my lane. The lady was heading east and was partially turning and made a sudden left in front of me at the last minute. i was like WTF i hate when people creep and then they think its clear and go. that just pissed me off even more, BUT im thankful that she wasnt hurt. she had minor scratches on her arm, she was shaking and traumatized. she had a scion xb or something or nissan cube? her whole right side of the engine compartment was smashed. Cop said it might have to be totalled. Sorry I took this picture at home, didnt have a camera with me at the time. stupid me. but got it reported and all. the damage done to my truck was that the bumper was smashed in a bit so that its pointing up at an angle, radiator fluid leaking, and the lights as you can see were smashed in. i was able to drive it home. i noticed that when i stopped my idle was going up and down and the truck was vibrating a lot. I didnt even have this bumper for one week and this happens... sorry no pics of the cube, but it was destroyed only had like 3/4 of the cube left.. I WAS going to get my shocks replaced too but no.... this had to happen... damn

anyhow on a side note... are my coilovers suppose to be this close to the upper control arm? or could it possibly be the accident?

 

Hahah man. I have the same question. I believe thats why you see everyone getting aftermarket UCA's. I believe they push it out a bit for extra clearance and better geometry. Mine are close but not that close. Its probably because your suspension is not compressed fully.

yeah i guess thats the main thing... caused a pretty good backup on waialae lol. jus talked to my adjuster today and she said that the lady wants me to take 10% of the blame... first it was 25% now 10% WTF........... man this is rediculous...

where did you get that bumper on your truck?... I have your truck but in 4wd and am just about getting to build it up.... where did you also get the gibson headers from? cost?

 

Love the Tacoma!!! Nice set up! One suggestion on the fender flares fading is to get them sprayed with Line-X. This stuff is bullet proof and you can get it color matched or black and it will not fade!

@UTTaco93 - I had the shop order the gibson headers, they were like 450-500 dollars. bumper was from Timicha whose with umm E-Lite offroad fabrication!
@RobV - thanks! will consider the line-x! yeah haha actually someone told me to spray them with tire shine and i did and it didnt do anything lol

whatsup digi, the truck is good, only thing is the bitch is making this process.. well a bitch! rofl. we are going through arbitration right now. bumper is still sitting in my freakn living room as there is no space in the garage. there is going to be one final decision of who is at fault and this bitch is just stalling for time. obviously if she admits 90% of her fault im pretty 100% sure im going to win. damn her. how goes the bumper for ya?

 

I'm real happy with how mine turned out. Got the winch in it and figured out how to setup the controller portion so its all good man.

Did you put the old "stock" bumper back on your truck for now til you can get the relentless fab one fixed?

It is amazing how some folks will do just about anything to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. GL with all that "legal stuff", I hope it all turns out good for ya.

 

ya i put the stock one back on, good thing i still had it or i would have to get a new one and insurance wouldnt cover it... wen i get everythng back on you gotta show me your setup
