Not to me. I can't imagine (for my needs) a flashlight over $100, and even that is sketchy.

Someone will chime in with 'value is in the eye of the buyer' and 'if you can afford it, why not?'

While I understand the first response, it doesn't mean that buyer has good judgement. (me included, more than I'd like to admit)

And to the second response I say I rather buy someone in deserving need a month's worth of groceries than a flashlight that I'd fret about losing or breaking.

There are companies out there like Nitecore that make lights that produce well over 3,000 lumens for a fraction of the cost. They aren’t tactical, but it’s still a flashlight.

I have several older Nitecore products and love them. A lot of their newer stuff is marketed tactical to. All at a tenth of the cost

Here’s an old one for ya. This was my grandfathers. Been meaning to buy one of those old school batteries with the wing nuts on top for it.

I have the "big daddy" made by nebo... it was only 50 bucks and is crazy bright... i dont think I could justify over 1000 for a flash light...

2000 lumens vs 2400 lumens isn't worth the grand in difference

Agreed, actually I found one by Fenix with 5100 lumens. I already have their 1000 lumen. Looks good and relatively affordable.
