    about 16 1/2. my problem was i have about another 2 inchs of shaft travel before it was fully extended so we just strapped the axle about an inch or so higher when the wheels still spin free to compensate the strap stretching.

    that sounds about the same as me, I'm pulling 18.5in from axle to full bump but my shock is only pulling 14.5 out of 16in figuring out where to strap it is going to be my next step/purchase after glass

    Kept the stock location for the front hanger, but moved the rear up a few inches.

    The point of no return...Caging before front LT because I have the time before the guy who is doing it can do it, and so I can barge it hard and not have to worry as much about it once it is full LT

    So I did a little work today, most of the day was spent getting the front window out and organizing things. But got the cab off the body mounts and cut down to the frame in the rear, and just the rear seat frame out.

    making progress on the cage! Put a seat back in to check if i fit in it and i still have a lot of clearance, now I just need to tie everything together and gusset
