Yeah, lemme know what you find out! Those are real popular in Germany I think, but last my wife checked (before her surgery 2 years ago) they weren't FDA approved yet. So she couldn't get one. They ended up just cutting off the fluid that had leaked out and solidified, and sealed it up with some sort of glue to prevent future leaks.

That's SOP for dr's, hospitals, and....well...more or less the whole medical community if it isn't life threatening or bringing in a boatload of $$$$$$$$$.

I dont know, man. Everytime I needed surgery, I was able to get it done when I wanted. Will should be recovering and feeling fine, albeit numb, right now.

Everyone I've know that needed surgery had to wait for a least a few weeks. It was never "ok, you need surgery. We'll get you in in 3 days...." Sometimes an appointment to see the doc to get approved for the surgery was a month out.

Thats horrible. The last surgey I needed, the Dr. told me I needed the surgery, and I said "when?". He said when is good for you?. I hasd it that next Monday. And it was for a torn muscle in my shoulder. Clearly not life threatening.

Can you go on disability or unemployment or something for the time you're out? I know the feeling bro! A wife, myself, and 3 kids live off just my income right now. It sucks ass! :(

Yay for a date! Good luck with everything! I was gonna ask too--is there any short term disability to be had? I know it saved our butts when Hubby was out of work. Although, if there were, I assume you'd already by using it, but thought I'd ask anyway. I'd give you a hug, but this is the internet....

man, we tried the disability...no go, and i cant get unemployment since i still have a job. i really wish the bastards i work for wouldnt have decided to drop short term disability last year!!!! we are making it work....but its tight as hell, no extra spending at all, and its a reason im trying to sell my bass boat.....so we can have what we need, or pay off a couple of bills. it sucks man!!

    Awww..thank you! :)

I know how much it sucks--Hubby was out of work for 5 years, so I know tight with money! Coupons, a really tight budget, and WIC got us through, but it sure does make you appreciate everything more!

out of work? you consider being the Lord and Savior for all of Christianity out of work? Listen, Jesus leads a very stressful life, if he doesn't feel like getting a second job to support your girl habits like make up and dolls and ironing boards doesn't mean he's "out of work". for someone thats married to Jesus i thought you would be a little more sensitive....
