Surly Karate Monkey CUSTOM - Large $2500 obo MOTIVATED!!!

I took delivery of this Surly Karate Monkey in beautiful Fools Gold in November of 21. I had ordered it earlier in the year in April. I purchased it from a LBS and also upgraded parts on it that went on the bike when they assembled it. I got the bike home, rode it approximately .2 of a mile and returned to my house……it was a cold windy day and I just wanted to see how the bike felt since I had just got it and waited a while for it. It has sat in my garage ever since. Every time I ride, I take my full suspension Kona. I purchased it to ride when my wife may want to go on a bike ride but…..she never does. I keep telling myself to start riding it but I could use this money to support other projects I have going. Again, this bike is literally BRAND NEW and unridden. Below is a break down of what I did. I paid $3800 for the bike and after doing what I did to it, being all the tasteful modifications. My price is fair but may have a little room for a serious buyer. Can also text more pics and a copy of my receipt as well. MY LOSS YOUR GAIN. I’d prefer not to ship but may entertain that as well. Shipping is on you. I still have the original bars I believe and I know I have the Gold ridged forks.

Yeah your probably right at the limit. I’m not sure on what they are. I’m 6’1” and it is a great size for me.

With the time, attention, and money Juan has in that truck, that is one hell of a deal.

 

I am actually looking at a 22 Pro and need to make a decision quickly on it. If I buy it, a few parts will come off my Baja and will be put on the new truck. At that point, my Baja will be up for sale.
