Is the surplus 30 carbine ammo corrosively primed? I shot about 100 rounds of it today and was wondering if i needed to clean the bolt face the next few days or not.

Some is, some isn't - depends on the age and arsenal. Best way to tell is to tell us what the headstamp says.

If it is corrosive, cleaning the boltface is the least of your worries. You'll need to clean the bolt, chamber, barrel and gas system. If you don't have one already, get an M1 Carbine gas piston nut wrench. Unstake the nut, support the gas tube+barrel, remove the nut and piston and clean them. Potasium chloride is hygroscopic, so it will absorb moisture and ruin your day. :/ If you live in AZ/NM you have some time. If you live in a place with high humidity, you need to get moving.

The head stamp is L C 54 does that mean its lake city ammo made in 1954. if so i dont think its corrosively primed but i could be wrong.

    .

Need to look at the head stamp and then a known LC case.
The Chi Com copied the LC headstamp, I have several boxes on it.
Some is boxer primed and some berdan.

Just picked up 10k rounds on NC LC ammo from CMP last month, great ammo and very clean.

If it's real LC 54 and not a ChiCom copy, it's not corrosive. According to CMP, all 30 Carbine made in WWII is non-corrosive. That's news to me, but looks like you're GTG.
