I know there are a lot of gun enthusiasts here on this forum, but I was wondering how many of us own surplus firearms? My favorite will probably my Eddystone M1917 from WWI, followed by my 1891/30 nagant from 1942.

I love the 1911. I will eventually buy a WWI or WWII model to go with my kimbers. I'm torn between a 1911 or an M1 Garand for my next purchase.

I'm slowly building a collection of pre 1960 US Military small arms. IMO every enthusiast needs to order a CMP M1 while they still can.

Was told by my now-deceased grandfather that my .32 Colt revolver was an old police gun. I don't know if that's true or not. If it is, it belonged to a desk-bound detective, because the thing is still in practically brand-new condition.

Sadly, it does not shoot worth a shit. You always hear about those gunfights where two dudes unload a full mag on each other from a distance of ten feet and don't hit each other...always thought that was bullshit until I got this thing and now I can easily see how it could happen.

Obviously you don't know how to shoot. Your pistol is capable of very accurate fire.

    I have a small collection - here are some of my rifles. I have 2 M1 Garands, 3 M1 Carbines, a no1 Mk 3 Enfield, a no1 Mk 4 Enfield and a no1 Mk 5 Enfield, a bunch of Soviet M91/30s, an M44, a Finnish M39 and a Chinese T-53. My pistols include an M1911A1, a pre-Victory S&W No 11, a Soviet Nagant Revolver and a Nazi-marked Browning Hi Power, among others.

I also restored an 1876 Enfield Martini Henry MkII

The Browning Hi Power was adopted by many foreign militaries after its initial design. Belgium adopted it in 1936 and began producing it for its military at their FN plant. When the Germans occupied Belgium in 1940 they took over the plant and began using it within the Germany military -primarily within the SS and Paratroop units.

You can see two of the Waffenamps - the German acceptance marks in the second picture.

Unfortunately, I had to have this pistol refinished - when I got it, it had been chromed so I sent it to a gunsmith who slowly etched the chrome off over a period of months and then refinished it.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
I have fairly normal faire for surplus rifles. A mk4 Enfield and several mosins. I'd really like to get a Garand and a M1 carbine soon though.

I've got a couple mosins and a k31 as far as surplus, love the k31, superr accurate.

The mosins I haven't tried to shoot distance with them. But I've got 2 Finns and an m91, all three are currently for sale because I don't shoot them
