This is on a 16' Limited auto in 2WD mode on the factory tires, I stopped at the rest stop to grab something to eat hence the two separate readings. Only heavy on the throttle when getting onto the freeway or passing, first part of the trip i was going around 60-65 through construction, second part of the trip i was going about 75-80 with no traffic.

This is about 4 MPG more than my old Acura RDX, and about 4 MPG worse that my old Forester XT. Not bad at all for something way bigger than either of those!

Well done...!.. I just got back from a trip from S. Ontario to B.C, and back... 8,000 Kms or so.... I went thru the US of A and got pretty good MPG..... The flatlands on N. Dakota and Montana gave me 28.8 MPG CDN... That's like 25.6 per "Merican" Gallon...
Really pleased with it...however; when using CC at Hwy speed and a hill is coming, I kicked the CC off and went to manual for the hill climb, to keep the throttle from flooring it...!!

Most of the trip I was in "S" mode so that I could knock down the gear if I saw a hill coming.... I did it before the tranny would do in "D". and I kept the tranny from going ballistic down to 4th gear.. just cruised up and over the hill in 5th... I think I have got this tranny figured out..!!

    Just loving this truck...!!!

I'll have to remember this for hilly drives, thank you!

Yeah I am absolutely loving the truck as well!

I average around 22-23 with mine. Don't pay a lot of attention to graph. But, I will tell you if I stay off cruise control an operate throttle to keep it around 30 mpg. I can get a good number. But, it gets good enough that I'm not worried about it. Then again I rarely drive over 100 miles one way.
