i got the access cab for two reasons, 1st a bicycle will not fit in the bed unless u remove the front wheel, and i ride freeride and those bikes dont have QR (quick release front axcels). i actually took one of my bikes to the dealer ship with me to see if it would fit in the short bed. 2nd im in the process of turning my truck into an actuall prerunner and the long wheel base of the double cab long bed just wouldnt work for me. but in my opinion the double cab looks better if u r basing your vote strictly on looks

I dont have kids and dont plan to for a long time, but the DC is great since its got more room than most sedans, and i have 4 wheeling capabilities plus a small bed for when i need it. I rarely need the bed. i got my truck to haul a boat when i get one and go offroading, plus i was tired of being so close to the ground. Plus i travel alot and i have plenty of room in the cab for luggage and sleeping bags and the bed for coolers and chairs and a grill. So the DC is perfect for me. Although i do like the look of the access cabs

I ride all mountain and my brother rides downhill. we can fit our bikes in the back of my shortbed. you have to lay them diagonally and on top of each other but they fit :)

I like the look of the access cab, but I ordered the DC short bed for passenger space

I personally love the look of the access cab but the reason I bought the the DC was for more space as we have another addition to our family on the way.

Bug deflecter, vent shades, Airaid Intake, Pop 'n lock, replaced chrome bumper with black bumper, replaced chrome grille surround with a black grille surround, blacked out logo in the front, debadged, center console lock, grom audio mp3/ipod,weathertech digital liners
I liked both but I got an access cab myself. I didn't want a shorter bed with the double cab!!

I got the double cab because I have one daughter with a son on the way. I had a Mazda B3000 Troy Lee Edition (paid off too!) that I LOVED, but not kid friendly so I sold it. I have the long bed because I'm always hauling around crap that sticks out the back. The cool thing about the Taco LB is that it's just over 6 feet, so all the lumber and tables I haul still fit with the tail gate shut.

We have 3 daughters so the DC was a must! Much more room than many other cars we've had or been in. Short bed wasn't really something I considered as I wanted the 6spd, and they don't make 6spd long beds. I love the look, and the fact that I'm always amazing people with the tight turn radius of it. It even surprises me sometimes when I'm on a tight trail and need to turn around!

I've hauled riding mowers, rototillers and half the furniture in my house in it when we moved. My father in law helped with his full sized chevy, but the cap limited what he could carry. With mine we just stood things on end or stacked them up and strapped them down. Even with the tailgate down I haven't found anything I wished I'd gotten the LB to haul. Anything too big for the SB that I want to get will be too big for a LB as well so I'm planning on a trailer. (Things like ATVs and big go-karts)

I like the looks of the double cab the best. I went with the double cab long bed because I have a kid and when i take long scuba trips with some of my buddies that's a lot of gear to be hauling in a short bed or access cab.

I like the looks of my dbl cab better after putting the Leer cap on the bed, it looks more 'balanced.' I have two daughters, 4 & 6, so I need the dbl cab. I wanted a long bed dbl cab but Toyota doessn't make them with the TRD Off-Road pkg so I had to compromise. Tough decision because I wanted the larger bed. But hey, I'm not complaining, I love my Taco!

In stock form visually I like the AC better. (also not the sport, I hate the fake hood scoop with a passion, I do like the color matched everything else though). Built up with armor, 3" lift, tires, ect... the DC looks better imo.
